Fixup Plugin Support

My problem were solved forcing vsync OFF on nvidia software. But with that, comes another problem.... my sequential gearbox (separated from wheel) is jumping gears like from 2nd to 4th, or when I down shift, from 2nd to N.... I've already activate the gear protection in game, but it still the same. In rfactor 2 or Raceroom for example we can prevent this in the menu or in read files, we can ajust time to between to gear change, but on RBR i think its not possible... maybe on next fixup?? :)

Do you still need help? I had the same problem and i solved with a script for adjust the time for the gears!

Well, that depends on the effort you put into track making.
If you have a large view, it is really difficult to calculate which far away textures are visible, and which are not.
If the textures are big, the drawing system has to make a choice whether to draw the whole thing or not.
There is always a trade-off between performance and beauty, or however you may call it.
If you don't like it, play another game ... ;)

All fine, no need for more screenshots.
This "issue" may vanish with lower FOV, which is no option when using triple head.
Imagine a 360° FOV ... so basically the whole scenery would have to be rendered all the time.
Maybe no problem for current hardware, but back in 2004 developers had to make lots of compromises ...
Anyway still the state-of-the-art simulation if you can live with the visual glitches.

Hello WorkerBee after some time I came back to play RBR, downloadd FixUp 4.0 but I am unable to launch it. Despite it is copied to Plugins folder, RBR does not see it, neither is creating fixup.ini. Could you please help with this matter? (1.02 Patch was previously installed)

Edit, ok I managed to get to stage visible on the screen but still no ini file presence. :(

FixUp plugin is available here:

RBR FixUp plugin

Notes:
As usual, details provided in the readme.

Furthermore, I recommend to change the file
"Audio.ini"
in the RBR root directory as follows:

[OPTIONS::SOUNDS]
NumberChannels=64

This should significantly improve the quality of the sounds.
Especially you should then be able to hear the rain falling and some more gimmicks.

FixUp plugin and/or NGP menus cause the game to crash, tested on both an RBRpro and Rallyusimfans installation on windows 11.
tried reinstalling both with no success, FixUp makes it only show a black screen before crashing, NGP menu crashes after loading prfile, before showing the main menu.
Also gauger plugin gives some errors and causes crash on startup if present and enabled.
I suppose the issue is mine since it never happened before, but has anyone got the same issue and managed to fix it?

I think it is a problem related to your system since the fixup plugin does not create any of the problems you mentioned, and the RBRTM and RSF plugins work just as well.
