Firmware updating issue

Hi, I am having problems updating the firmware for "ClubSport Steering Wheel Formula V2.5 X". It is a brand new wheel, never been used. After installing the driver it prompts for a firmware update. But when clicking update the program/driver freezes. Also, the buttons/wheel is unresponsive when trying to switch between "PC" and "Console" mode. The F logotype is showing in the OLED display, but nothing happens when pressing the button combo. I have tried the update on 2 different computers to rule out computer issue.

My guess would be you need to update the wheelbase and motor firmware prior to upgrading the rim so they can recognize each other.
