WIP Fictional free roam island W.I.P

Hello community.
Midway through 2014 i began building this fictional currently untitled track,
i started with a rough sketch of a shape and then begun scouring google earth
to incorporate some of my favourite roads from victoria, Australia
And Porto, Portugal.
it is now 26km in diameter with road networks throughout
and plans to build a city, suburb, raceway industrial zone etc

everyday i seem to learn something new from this project , from the cambers
to roadwidth, terrain issues etc
sometimes this screen is so close to destruction it's amazing i havent smashed it.
the intersections are definately the toughest part especialy when the terrain is on a slope
though i've figured a few ways to make it work, overall i have plans to import the map to 3ds and weld the vertices of intersections aswell as placing the 3d building etc

hey guys, sorry for not posting updates, I've been crazy busy with studies and this thing is huge, so progress is running slow.

actually yes ive done some functional road textures for every road but the hiway...the terrain is about 98% complete minus hi-res texturing...
currently im working on some sidewalks and will post some screens of progress within the next couple days.

sorry for the long delay people.. ive just finished uni for the year last week, and am now already hard at work trying to sort a few bits and pieces of the roadway.. if all goes well ill post some updates during the week.
