Wow. I race with my 360 controller since I don't have a wheel, and was getting 2:07.5.

Then I loaded up your setup, and my first full lap pulled off a 2:02.2.

I can vouch for that. Was running 2:05s consistently with the stock setup (except fuel and tires). Got Gold instantly during first cold lap with this setup.

Has anyone tried this car / track recently since all the tire updates? Trying for the Italy 1987 achievement but can't seem to even get close. Looking at old videos it seems like this car had way more grip before. Happy to be told to git gud if everyone else is still able to do 2:00 times...

I just tried and got a 1.59. Car can probably do 1.58 or 1.57...even 1.56

I'm doing 1.59 on both setups posted here and also on the default setup. We are so far off the limit on this car that setup doesn't matter much. Pick the one that feels best and that's the one you'll be fastest with. Out of the three the default is the one that feels the best to me.

When you say the default setup - presumably you dumped most of the fuel?

Yes I did. I had fuel for 2 laps.
