I love the car and i would love to make some skins for it.
I do not own photoshop, i am using GIMP, a freeware.

GIMP is able to use .psd files aswell, though it cannot use a 3D template.
The 2D template you provided surprisingly was in a .psb format instead of a .psd like almost any other car i worked with, be it an official one or a modded car.

is there a way you could give me a 2D .psd template of that car?

Yes, of course
I'm currently afk so may take some hours. In the meantime, try to rename the file to psd and see if its open, may work. If not, I will give you the psd version.

Already tried to rename it, though the .psb ending is not "visible", i can not edit that, so if i add .psd to the name it won't change the format.
Short: Didnt work for me sadly, which would have made things easier

If you use photoshop, there's no need download the update as long as you have 1.0

This update is for those with other softwares that can open PSD but not PSB (old format in the template)
