For some reason when they made the game they never added support for the gears , all the gears are there and correct ,
The F1 Hud provided is what you should be using anyway as that and the steering wheel provides all the data you need , but i only drive cockpit views anyway with my wheel ,
there is two cars because each driver as is own led,s on the steering wheel , and each driver has a custom set of 4 tire compounds ,
so between the two cars there is 8 sets of tires all different ,
lewis car has the 44 markings on them and nico as nico wrote on them like in real life ,
each side of the car as L rotation and R rotation on them which has never been seen before in anygame specially by a modding group ,
The mod includes
the drivers faces ,
the drivers helmets ,
the drivers gloves ,
the drivers suits ,
the drivers led,s ,
the drivers tires ,
ect ect ect

When I change tyre compund, the tyre color still orange. Is it normal or should it change?

If I increase the aero by more than one value, the car gets very unstable in high speed corners and no balance between the front and rear wing can remedy that. Does the car bottom out under the pressure or what is the cause?

ya it seems like this. I increased the front height from -50 to +values and than it was ok

you have to change them from inside the skins folder , copy and paste the two dds files into the skins folder each time you want to change the colors
