Martin Gosbee made a one-off return to Faster Than Speed at Yas Marina, and took the FTS-P13 to 5th place in the World Championship race, achieving the team's best result of the season so far. Giuseppe Marconi finished the Abu Dhabi GP in 15th.

James Sadler made his FTS debut in the World Trophy, taking his strongest finish so far, 9th.

In the World Championship, Precision Motorsports' Martin Gosbee climbed onboard the FTS-P13 and set an impressive 4th fastest time in Q1. Unfortunately, an error in his Q2 flying lap left him unable to set a laptime. He had to start 8th in the grid as a consequence. Team mate Giuseppe Marconi qualified 19th.

Martin drove a great race, keeping his position at the start before passing Csuti for 7th. He deployed a three-stops strategy, being the last man to pit at the end of his first stint, which allowed him to briefly take the lead of the race before pitting at the end of lap 24. After switching to the soft tyre compound, he passed Mallorqui into the hairpin to move up to 6th.

Following his second stop, Martin again overtook Mallorqui with a tight move, before also making a move on Baldi to retake 6th place. Martin showed strong pace and consistency with both tyre compounds, and took Faster Than Speed's best result of the WC season as he finished in 5th place, scoring 10 valuable points.

Giuseppe, meanwhile, had a good start and was able to overtake Disley into the hairpin in the opening laps. Also running in a three-stop strategy, his race was compromised by having to serve a stop-and-go penalty for cutting a corner on lap 29, but he still recovered to finish a low-key race in 15th place.

In the World Trophy, British driver James Sadler made his FTS debut at Yas Marina. The young 14-year old immediately enjoyed a performance boost as he raced the FTS-P13 for the first time, as he took his first ever top-ten result, finishing the race in 9th place.

The 2013 season finale will be the Brazilian GP. The Autódromo José Carlos Pace was the host of fantastic races for FTS in the past, with the team celebrating victories in WS Ace and WS Advanced, and clinching the double WS Advanced title at Interlagos in 2008.
