Fanatec Shifter SQ V1.5 issue

Hi!
Just bought a Fanatec Shifter SQ V1.5
Everything works fine, but i'm unable to make the shifter work in sequential mode.

On the Fanatec configuration software the upshifts and downshifts are detected with no problems with both the sequential shifter and the wheel paddle.
In-game I can map the up and downshifts to the sequential shifter as well without issues (detected as buttons 28 and 29).
However once the driving starts, the sequential shifter doesn't work. Same problem with both Project Cars and AC.

If I map the up and downshifts to the wheel paddles they work fine. If I map them to the SQ shifter, everything looks fine until you start the race, where they will just not work.
No problems with the shifter using H mode.

Any ideas on what's wrong?

Think I've solved the issue. Just needed to tick the box on the Fanatec settings saying "Map sequential shifter to shifter paddles".
