Fanatec CSL Elite with Formula Rim decentering after turning

Hello, this is my first post here. I'm looking for help with my Fanatec CSL Elite wheel which I bought during the Black Friday promo, but only got to try out this week.

I connected the wheel, updated the firmware and calibrated it as instructed in this video (
), and at first everything looked normal, until I hopped into Project Cars 2 and noticed that after a couple of turns, or a crash, the wheel will go a lot off-center to either the left or right, making it impossible to actually do anything with it.

This happens with all the games I've tried it with (Project Cars 1 and 2, F1 2017, iRacing).

I'd appreciate any tips on what to do

Thanks!

Known issue, sensor defect. Open a ticket with Fanatec support, you will receive a replacement unit. Happend to me 2 times with the CSL Elite base, so I asked for an upgrade to CSV2. Had to pay the price difference but now I'm happy and no more problems.
