Fanatec CSL Elite FFB issue

So, I noticed twice in the span of about 45 minutes today my CSL Elite wheel base would suddenly "freak out" and turn hard to the right, where it would bounce endlessly on the lock. The only way to stop it was to to turn off the power to the base.

Has anyone else had this issue, or perhaps may know what is causing it?

Sounds more like a ffb bug from rFactor 2.
Bind a button (keyboard if you can as the wheel will be spinning apparently) for "reset ffb" in the settings.
When it happens again, hit that button and see if the wheel calms down or not.

If not: did you use a mod car or mod track? If so which ones?
Maybe it's a but in the car...

Well, there was at least one but in the car: mine. XD

I did the force feedback reset, but it didn't fix the issue. Turns out the power plug had come loose ( I think I bumped it the other day), and intermittently lost and regained power. So far, so good. I've had a real bug in my butt for racing lately, and that was sort of a heart-in-throat kind of moment thinking my wheel was on the fritz.
