F_Ultimate helmet bug with WCP skins

Since I installed the WCP 2018 skins pack for F_Ultimate the helmet position for the original F_Ultimate is wrong (too high and backward), also textures disappear when looking from far away.

I noticed the helmet textures are mapped differently than the original ones, I guess that WCP uses another 3D shaped helmet. From the little I understand, my issue might be in the 'gfx' folder in F_Ultimate, I think I overrode the original helmet 'gmt' files that are inside.

Does anyone know if it's plausible ?
If so, anyone has a solution that doesn't involve a steam file check ?
