Sorry all for this driver (Laurent), i'm very sorry for all what happened.

Its entirely our fault in the TeamGG and we are ashamed of this behavior.

He's banned of the TeamGG.

A very bad advertising for our Team.

Cya and very sorry:confused2:

~60 mins on the server last night brought me just heaps of frustration and a 0.022 sec's gain :(

Maybe I was not really in the mood for it, but same as Mr Palmer I believe my main loss is thru sector 1 and that chicane ... annoyingly I was up by ~0.4 a bunch of times by the first split only to lose it in the 2nd or 3rd sectors :frusty: (and the front end of the car usually )

The laps where I was slower at the first split I usually managed to maintain the same deficit to the finish line.

I think for the sake of my sanity I might have to leave this track alone from now on :p

BTW: 1.01.9  very impressive :highfive:

Its not the Teams fault whatsoever. He acted that way as an individual, and was punished accordingly.

Fell asleep last night and am headed out early for work. Going to watch my replays when I get home and write a nice lengthy race report.

I am so upset I had my scheduling wrong for this. I had worked hard the night before to get comfortable with the track and car.

I did watch a bit of the race when I got home, and saw Mitchell get his first win, so congrats to you and also to anyone who finished that race.

Eric, im glad we talked before I left or I wouldve felt like a jacka**

Keith

Ahh pish and dribble ... I keep doing this
Tuesday wrote Mr Kipling, is the day I go to get my back fixed, and even if I do manage to get home in time, I am not supposed to sit for longer than 20 minutes in one session (not that there is much chance of me doing 20 minutes round here :D).

So my dear Gary ... apologies but pls drop me on to the reserves in case I do get in and am in a defiant mood :silly:

Whew, what an event. I was absolutely hating that track until I started watching Bram and Marcel on the practice server. After watching them on and off, I went from the low 17's into the low 14's and was feeling pretty good. Watching on race monitor, and especially in-car was crucial in my opinion so thanks big time to the both of them. Also thanks to Tim for setting it up, and Eric for hosting the practice sessions :)

Quali - I jumped out quickly just to get some free track and it paid off. My second lap I somehow turned a 14.6 I think? Good enough that I went back and double checked my setup for a few minutes. Went back out and started practicing with full fuel just to be sure and I thought I was having issues because my screen turned brownish grey LOL. Then it started raining and I was like oh man! Luckily it turned dry after.

Race -
First half: all I can say is that I'm damn lucky that Chris and Marcel didn't qualify next to me. If they had, there's no way I'd have won this race! I'm absolutely horrible running in traffic - I basically just lose concentration. The car was handling perfectly the entire race. Someone was on my tail for a bit and I was getting nervous, but I just put my head down and ignored my mirrors. I was basically mistake free for the entire first half of the race. The pit was kind of brutal though - looooooong. I believe I ran a best of 15.6 or so during the race? I'll have to go back and check.

Second half: I was amazed that my pitstop showed 85% tires still left. I'm glad I changed them though as the car woke itself up again and I was feeling more stable. At this point I re-entered around P3 and was really hoping others still had to pit (I pitted on L15 or L16). Someone was in front of me (not sure who) after another person pitted and I was in P2. I was sweating it because I didn't know if they started heavy fuel, or had already pitted. After a spin I blew past and was going pretty well again. Until I noticed that there were only 3mins left. Totally lost concentration! I spun in Eu Rouge and nailed the wall!!! I was breathless waiting to hear of damage, but luckily I kept going. After that I went into conservative mode and a lap later I spun again LOL. I really tried hard to throw the entire race away! Luckily I had over a minute gap to P2 so all was well.

Thanks everyone for the grats, much appreciated. I got lucky with the quali session going rainy so I'll chalk this one up to my lucky first win :)
