Sorry guys, I have some kind of illness and my usual bad reaction speeds are even worse. I can't even put a clean lap together as I'm missing braking points everywhere. Time for hot food and something less intensive instead.

I'm gonna spare you a lengthy, picture-y race report, promise!

As I haven't had the time to practice the Minis, I had quite a hard time both getting yesterday's brake points out of my head and getting the Mini to a good pace - I was somewhat fast, but P1-5 were pretty much out of reach throughout P2.
Actually going for qualy fuel for once, I was kinda wondering where my speed went, but didn't think too much of it at the time..

Having qualified in 7th positions, I had nice, though short battles with a few of you (a somewhat longer one with Nuno) but non of the passing maneuvers were exactly spectacular, everyone seemed to pass me without too much trouble.
As it turned out (and as I realized at about 15mins in), my brake pedal seemed to constantly send the slightliest brake signal, naturally costing me quite some time (and confusing everyone behind me, bwahaha! - sorry, actually ).. Oh well, hopefully a reconnect will fix this, as pulling it up with my foot in order to keep Nuno behind me in the final part of the race wasn't that comfortable

Anyways, good fun, great crowd on TS, see you next week!

/EDIT: re-connecting the wheel-to-pedals cable did the trick

Feeling well enough to join and glad I had a car setup prior! I didn't make any changes and saved my driving time for the race.

From the git go I was just waiting for the pitstop window to open. I didn't want to be thinking about it much just get it over and go for a drive. Kevin was gaining on me and I wanted to keep in front of him before I pitted, he looked to be able to get away from me. L6 and right onto the jacks for a pair of fresh fronts and right back out. Now on the road with no one around I could drive and not make too many mistakes.

All is well until L12 and I get a glitch from nvidea lasting 10 seconds and Kevin, fresh from the pit passes, me. He doesn't seem to have much grip and I'm able to haul past him. Back to where we left off when I pitted and I feel better for having left him hanging as I dove in. And the rest of my race was trying to keep Kevin off of my back! I made three mistakes, once allowing hem to catch me on the front straight and two in T5 where I goofed both times causing him to contact me, sorry, not intentional! I had been safe on braking for T1 but had to go for the limit towards the end and I thought I heard his motor go into the limiter and since it seemed I could go deeper than he, gave me some confidence.

So, I had a really good race, hoping Kevin did too!

Oh yes, not only did we beat GSCE on numbers in TS but also on the track

Huge improvement from last weeks Mini race. Instead of crashing repeatedly I was consistently slow. However, I had a cracking race with @Reggie Blain Snr for the entire event. We switched positions more times than I can remember until he ran wide one the last lap gifting me the highly coveted penultimate position.
A very fun race.
Hopefully I'll see some of you on Thursday
