Why can't you practice in a single player session?

Lobby was (is?) down, but Reiza are (were?) working on it.

Guess maybe this is where newness comes in. I have the track but no cars. I assumed they were on the server. Please educate me.

So, if you haven't already, you'll need to download the GT mod and install it. You can see the links in the first post of this thread. Then the cars will show up (on the main menu, click the arrows until all cars are available before clicking on the session you want). You won't be able to download the mod from the multiplayer server itself. Hope that helps, feel free to ask any more questions.

Remember to fix a button for the push to pass speed boost which can be used a number of times in the race. Once pressed and used it has a period of time before it can be used again.

Sry but i cant join the Server. I've installed the mod and i can choose my car (Merc) but if i try to join the Server and i have typed the pw then i go back to the vehicles with the Chevy V8 cars and my choice in the Blancpain mod is gone. To cut a Long Story short: I can join the Server with a V8 car (not Long of course cos ist the wrong car) but not with a Blancpain car. Can only make a testday. Hope you understand my Problem Maybe anyone has an idea. Thx in advance

Are you using the new user interface from the mod? There are problems with GSCE. Try renaming/deleting the uiData folder and replacing it with the one from GSCE.

Do you get any error message before it kicks you out? Try running the sync tool (it will replace the mod UI however, but that's not a problem; I did that on purpose)

@Rolf Just Sorry about the crash, as I was off track it was slippery and brakes weren't effective. Apologies. Totally my fault, missed my breaking point completely.

P.S. The small battle that we did have was awesome, though

Ahh this didn't go as planned. After i missed the first corner, starting from third, I lost a view positions and had a good fight with Guilherme Silva. After I managed to pass him I oversteered and crashed into a wall. This gave me heavy wheel damage which I had to repair in the box. A few minutes later, my DFGT lost its calibration, so I had to alt-tab out of the game, which caused the game to crash. I hope my car didn't stand on the road or something.

But all in all it was great fun driving with you, and for my first club race I expected that something would go wrong

Same for me, was doing a regular race in 4th trying to finish in one piece and just one stint (no pits), but a touch in the grass near the karousel sent me spinning around and got me a flat tire and lots of smoke. I tried to get it to the pits, but soon I realized that dragging the car to the boxes at 40kph would take until 2016, not to mention I got stuck in karousel. So I left.
