F1 Ultimate Team

about a few years ago, someone on YT brought up the idea of a F1 Ultimate Team mode where you can manage your own drivers and race with this team.

but it was never mentioned again, but I decided to bring it back up again with ratings and unlike FIFA Ultimate Team there is less low quality drivers to make getting epic drivers (plus legends) more possible, based on FUT these drivers are put into different catergories of quality (Gold, Silver, Bronze, Rare, Non-Rare, Legends, DOTR (Similar to Team of the Week), DOTM, DOTY or DOTS and Record Breakers if any).

Legends are basically great drivers of the past, regardless if champion or not.

I'd thought about this too, putting stats to F1 drivers like players in FIFA, in the WRC games by Milestone there's a similar system where some drivers get a certain "grade" also depending of their car, Sébastien Loeb has 99 and Hayden Paddon has somewhere around 90. Interesting thing, even if the ratings are subjective.

Here is what the cards would look like in a pack opening screen, also i would include a new type of card called the "Oldie Card" which gives you any former driver that is not known as a Legend in terms of stats but like to give them involvement, this includes the unfortunately deceased so drivers like Jules Bianchi and Roland Ratzenberger can be used in your team.

Thoughts?
