YOU DONT HAVE TO CALL ME WAYLON JENNINGS
AND YOU DONT HAVE TO CALL ME CHARLIE PRIDE
AND YOU DONT HAVE TO CALL ME MERLE HAGGARD/ANYMORE
EVEN THOUGH YOURE ON MY FIGHTING SIDE

Name that tune.... and it better be a southern redneck to win this one!!! Sorry for the thread hijack, just had to defend my heritage.

P.s. Dave, I think the F1 gp was last week mate, you cut and paster...........
This weekend too according to my TV guide and F1 calender :D
BTW: what's all that hassle about the Volvo? Not that I really care since I'm an RWD-only guy, but I hate hearing someone discussing something I don't even have a blunt idea about.
There is a unfair weight advantage so it's quicker on tracks with long straights etc.
I personal have not yet been beaten by a Volvo in a race. But if it stops all the PM's then it stays out until a fix has been implemented (Long word for me.... too early)

Fun racing tonight. In the first race it was going ok, but some java process on my computer popped up an error message which caused the game window to minimize. I switched back just in time to see my car smash into the wall at high speed (DNF). Race 2 was better - starting in first I was looking forward to putting up a fight against the faster guys. It went ok briefly, Eric got passed me, but then I lost it in the high speed corner and crashed. I had a good time catching up to Lazlo and getting by - I don't think he likes driving with a car in his rearview!

lol...in gtpro can do only 6.41.2 with audi...i'm a slow poke

If you do those times consistently and do not crash or do anything silly, then don't fear, you will do yourself more than very proud mate, as I'll wager not many people will go much quicker than that on a regular basis ... Sander, the alien who's lap you can see in that You Tube video at the start of this thread and running at 6:21 was in the 6:30's and toward the end I believe he ran a couple of high 6:40's when we did the GT Pro 90 mins race (he was way out in front so I guess backed off) ... consistency is key though mate.

I did a few laps last night with Hermy and co ... and after a bit of friendly banter with our man Michael, I found that in the GT Sport it only made a couple of seconds of difference per lap between having 30L, 50L and 100L of fuel on board ... first time out in the GT Sport BMW with no setup I did a 7:07 with 50L, then I stuck 100L in and did a 7:09. Front end was understeery on braking and gears were not 100%, so I would hope that if I practiced I could shave a good few seconds off that.
