F1 2020 F1 2020 | Update 1.17 Release

Codemasters have released a new hotfix update to F1 2020, moving the racing title to build 1,17 update release status and adding a number of fixes and developments to the official Formula One game.

The latest hotfix update to make its way into Formula One 2020 has been released by Codemasters, as the development team behind the official Formula One videogame continue to mop up the remaining issues that have been reported by the large F1 2020 racing community.

This new build, marked up as version 1.17, adds a number of helpful fixes to various issues within the title such including unexpected game crashes, blue flag logic and points allocation amongst others - details of which can be found in the update notes from Codemasters below:

Patch 1.17 is out now on PC, Xbox, PS4 and coming very soon to Google Stadia - and you can check out the notes below:

• Addressed an issue where tyre temperature could be at absolute zero after re-joining a session.
• Addressed an issue starting the game with a steering wheel plugged in.
• Addressed an issue with countback and declaring a winner when finish a world championship on the same points as another driver.
• Addressed an issue where the incorrect message could be displayed when overtaken in the safety car queue.
• Parc Ferme rules are now correctly retained in Leagues after using split-weekends.
• Lap counter will now show the correct lap in Spectator after a formation lap.
• Addressed a crash when viewing replays of F2™ races after completing the F2™ portion of a career.
• Addressed an issue where players were unable to join a Private League with an access code.
• Addressed an issue where blue flags could be shown to all players if someone quit and re-joined on the formation lap.
• Addressed an issue where the yellow flag message could persist after the Safety Car had gone on after a player had quit and re-joined a session.

When will they fix the g920 on PC been putting up with dodgy steering for 5 months now

Try to set steering saturation to 75, that fixed the steering for me.

These F1 arcade games are laughably easy and unrealistic but still pretty fun overall & look great. I find the career mode pretty tedious though.

i see people talking about kunos and having the f1 license and i will keep it short and simple. it will never happen ever.

Especially now that EA owns codies. Ea will likely take over that product and we all know they are the monopoly scum of exclusive club / league / sport licensing. I just hope they don't ruin F1 as they have Fifa for me

i just hope that 2k keeps all basketball rights and not let ea scam its in the game take over. and by the way you are speaking the truth because at this point they have a monopoly over sports gaming

Yea, quite how it's legal I do not understand. It's probably via some loophole where it's registered to subsidiaries or something. I really enjoyed the NFL 2k games before EA killed that off. And we can see Konami doing their best to fight it in the football sector with their PES games. They have been able to get some officially licensed teams / leagues but sadly it detracts lots of potential players having generic info. They make it incredibly easy to mod their games in order to fully equip it with official team and league tournaments but nonetheless it's sad that is required at all.

yea i just think i flash back to the 2000s when fifa was good and Barcelona was not winning every game lol. i am a American football fan my favorite football game is ncaa 06 such a great game we will not get that now. and again ea has the college rights this is messed up

All I want is for Codies to implement proper triple monitor support in their titles (F1 and Dirt Rally series in particular)...is that really too much to ask for? I've bought F1 2018 and even tried 2019, but I can't deal with the warped side view, it feels uncomfortable after a few mins.
