F1 2011 The Game (Codemasters)
Hey guys

My problem is that I don´t get the right settings for my T500

It´s so laggy. Right left changes are too slow FFb doesn´t work sometimes

and sometimes it works but with horrible vibrations.

I must now what to do its unplayable in the moment

I hope you can get me a profile or explainations.

THX for now

sorry for my bad english

I'm still fiddling with mine a little, of course its personal choice but the defaults used in the game are awful (something like 20% deadzone on steering? wtf!?)

Make sure you have the windows driver loaded, FYI i am on firmware 38 (currently the latest) driver 2.7.50.0 (available from www.thrustmaster.com) :) The driver can update the firmware, read the manual ;)

Firstly i went into the t500 RS control panel and set rotation angle to 270 degrees. It seemed to me about the angle the driver can turn the wheel in the game. On the gain settings tab i have everything at 100% with autocenter by the wheel.

In F1 2011 itself, under advanced wheel settings:-

Everything set to 0% apart from steering saturation - 15% (just speeds up the rate of turn a little. been playing between 10 and 15, just keep a loose grip on the steering and touch more gentle turning ;) )

Force feedback settings:

environmental effects - 30%
feedback strength - 80%
wheel weight - 50%

I'm still trying to get it right but that seems a good start for me. keeps the juddering down a fair bit.

Good luck!
