I might have to skip this event as I have been having massive frame rate issues with rFactor today. I have completely uninstalled everything and have started the process of downloading all the bits I need. Should hopefully be all good for tomorrow on time.

I seem to have fixed my problem now. Was nothing to do with my rFactor install, although it's nice to clear out all the clutter that has been added over these years.

It seems that a process called audiodg.exe was hogging all my cpu. I fixed it by disabling enhancements in the playback devices menu for windows 7. No idea why this is suddenly a problem as it hasn't been for the past few months.
