So, the main problem isn't the mod, it is my winrar?

F1_1992_V1.0_Setup.exe which is 832mb, then your also need, F1_1992_1.01 Patch.exe which is 23.5 MB
The 7.zip is F192 LE 1.01.7z which is 646 MB

If I'd get the Setup.exe + the patch, could I get around the problem with winrar? Where could I get them from?

or do I have to get 7zip in order to get the mod with all files working?

On the other side, does 7zip have problems with winrar compressed files?

No if you use the .exe that will have it's own install routine, all you'll need to do it point it to your rfactor main folder when the setup program prompts for it. you won't need winrar if its a .exe

Downloading the patch is easy, but the setup file takes me over 3 hours to download:O

I already have copy&paste'd the 7zip files into the install, should I delete them before I install it properly with the setup.exe?

Man, i have the same problem. When i select the F1 92 patch for choosing the cars, the game simply close. I don't understand that. Can you explain why this is happening?

David, try PeaZip, it's what I use, it's a free alternative to WinRAR and it can decompress .7z files with no problem.

I used 7zip to unzip the files and it works. Now i can play the game with no problems. Cya in da race!

The setup.exe's should overright the files providing there in the correct location. just try it
