Exporting A car onto Racer!!!

I made a tutorial to make a car with blender a long time ago I think it's in the downlod thread.

It has information about getting the car into racer, if it's not there just PM me with your e-mail addy and I'll send it to you.

Were you in the edit mode? Did you have a view-pane displaying the UV editor? It would have a little face on the view selection button in the lower-left.

yes i did do it, but it came out wrong il give you a screenshot l8r ;0

Boomer whats the name of the file i can only see building a track for racer

lol thats fine now i got the tga on it

and i exported it into racer

BUT, check if you can see my problem:

1.only half the car shows up on racer (im using mirror in blender)
2.The car is gigantic (alot bigger than its supposed to be)

1. In blender, when you united the two sides, did you recalculate the normals? Select all then press ctrl+N.

2. You need to scale the model. Zmod is really easy for that.

ok

i will now continue with my ZX

BIG PROBLEM

*TOO BIG

*ITS ON ITS SIDE

*ONLY HALF THE CAR SHOWS

Help!!!!!

Rotate

Scale

???

Assuming you're using the mirror modifier in blender, you need to click apply before exporting the model. You also have to be in object mode to do this.

Scale it down with the cusor on the 0,0,0 point of the car, in edit mode, s-key, and scale to desired size. Blender has "edge length" button.

Rotate car by selecting all vertices in edit mode and rotate so front of car is to the left, top up, 90 degrees.

Select both sides and join with j-key, name the object body. Make sure all vertices are selected in edit mode, and remove doubles.

Hey Thanks alot both of you! it is the right size

But still 2 problems:

*I need to rotate the car so that it is level with the shadow how do i do it?

Thanks alot EAP3D i got the other half done (applied it)

Rotate the body as I said before using the R-key and then you can either move all the vertices down or use offset in the car.ini file.

Check another cars car.ini file for guidance.
