In past years, as i know UEFA was European League. It was written "Europe". Then this year it turned into "Europa". I'm really wondering why is that ? And what are the differences betweeen those names

I am confused as well.
I always thought Europa was the German way to say it only..

Several European languages:
Bulgarian: Европа = Evropa
Czech:
Evropa
Danish: Europa
Dutch: Europa
English: Europe
Finnish: Eurooppa
French: Europe
Italian: Europa
Hungarian: Európa
German: Europa
Norwegian: Europa
Polish: Europa
Portugese: Europa
Romanian: Europa
Slovakian: Európa
Slovenian: Evropa
Spanish: Europa
Swedish: Europa
Turkish: Avrupa

Says enough, the English just wanted to follow the French. The French just did it because they wanted to be different (as always)

Europa is only a geographical term. I think Europa League sounds better otherwise in english it would be known as Juuurp League (i can here it saying by George W. Booosh).

Or they think this league is so good that they only expect aliens to play in it (Europa=moon of jupiter)
