The car control of the guys at the top really is off-the-chart. I just don't know how they get on the power so early, or how they get their direction change without losing momentum in a drift. They're into the 1:16's now, 3 seconds faster than my perfect lap. There's no "one corner" where they're taking that time either. It's just a tenth here, a tenth there. Perfection. Is anyone here still having a real go at this?

I got a 2.21, intended to give it another go the next day expecting to hit a 2.18.xx with a lot of practice, but then I looked at the time sheets and thought... I'm not gonna bother. Its insane how they are finding so much time, the car has no grip, it feels like im rolling around the track with hardly any throttle, I know I cant get into the 2.16's.

Finally , a 2:17!! Admittedly (and embarrasingly) it's taken maybe 12-15 hours to get there, but I'm chuffed. I expect it might take another 12-15 hours to take another half second. Can I be bothered? I'm thinking.......
