Race 1 went great, started 3rd and after many close and fair battles finished 1st:woot2::woot2:

Race 2 went also great, started 8th and tried to follow Yves as he was moving up the pack but just lost a little bit more time then he did so when we were 1 & 2 again he gained a bit to much ground to slipstream up to him and then....aaarrrrggg, a "freeze".......end of story.grrrrr:angry:.
Enjoyed it very much, great fights and close racing.
To bad that the game froze and made me restart the comp.
Oh well,better luck next time.
Thx all for the great racing.

tnx for the race guys
it was fun
but I have setup my gear bad lol
because during race 1 I had a touch with Yves, which had sent me to the wall...nothing big...just this game sliding badly
that ended with aero damage and with tall gear getting really slow on straight....result p5...

race 2 made some drastic changes on the gear and put a bit more fuel just in care.....
car felt good and was able to push hard...but just when I took P1 and starting to pull away, my pc froze haha...I guess the graphics card is to dirty right now that I have to clean it up.
in the end lost 20 sec from the frooze, drove with bad graphics back up to P3....which did felt good....shame I could not challenge Yves anymore.....
oh well next time
tnx for the fun guys.... (if you like oval battle like this...come mondays haha :D....yeah self promoting :))
happy b-day again to Michael....and tnx for the fun guys

for saying ovals isnet really my kind of racing that was imense :flag:

totaly supprised my self with a P6 in quali :tremble:

Race 1, bit of a quiet race for the 1st 20 mins, then while in 5th i saw i was catching 4th and 3rd. then thanks to a back marker slowing them down i was in there :). we spent the last few laps swaping places without touching and i managed to just hold on to 3rd :good:

Race 2, the 1st 10 mins were bloody amazing with the top 8 or 10 drivers swaping places like it was going out of fasion, but with great respect for each other. in the last 10mins was a kind of repeat of race 1 where i was catching the 3rd place scrap then from out of no where came Chris P like MEEEooooo flew past me lol, and i came home in 6th i think.

total respect for all the close racing tonight guys loved it loads, shame me old mucker Michael wasent up close to enjoy it to, but i guess he was a bit to pissed lol. hope you had a good Birthday m8 and already looking forward to the next one :love2:

Thanks all for the fun and congrats to the winners!:Banane35:

1st race: started from 5th and was sleeping with the rolling start......:sleepin: Lost some places and finished 7th eventually. But when you loose the slipstream it's very difficult to come back when the other is not making a mistake.

2nd race: started from 2nd and had good fights for those places. Had a great fight with Andias, thx for that, but he won, and i finished 5th.......or was it 6th?? haha, don't know anymore. Next time better luck.

See you all next time and thx too yves and rd again:smile-big::woot2:

sorry to all for not seen that it was rolling start planned, :embarrassed:
jumped in qualy not really prepared for race, no setup no anything, qualified almost last 19?

R1
except for embarrassing my self with not knowing it was flying start planned, had a good start, few clean laps but then started my nightmare called "blue flag warning" every time I tried to free racing line I ended in wall, not really easy to move in this speeds...however strugled and finished in one piece
R2
again dropped to final position :disapointed: and kept it strongly almost till end :messed:

was fun however...more demanding then I thought it will be

:thanks:Yves, RD

Going nowhere in these things as usual until i load an Yves setup...then *BiNg* instant 2secs or so gains :D,qualy 13th :D :p,and proceed to do an awesome launch standing start....clean in to the back of the guy ahead,..apparantley doing the required rolling start :),sorry about that whoever it was, last time i looked at the thread here it was stating a normal standing start, due to not really knowing where the lap begins/ends i was behind the gang at the start, something i now know to be not a good thing, still some little bits of action along the way ending 9th :).
All ready and clued up now and a much better start in touch with the crowd, and then begun a series of laps of pure all out racing action,i decided to try and follow Yves on his purge up to the front, and i had some good fortune and a lot of clean racing respect given and duly gave back as well :),a pleasure to be involved in that, could make a good little bit of movie clip....my advance forward stopped at 2nd place,Yves was not catchable for me :good:.
So i bring home and give to you Hermy m8 my 2nd place trophy :D :second:,and ofcourse i say again..many Happy Birthday wishes mate :good:.

Thank You Yves & RD

Happy to join Michael's birthday "bash", but can't say I'm a fan of oval racing. It is very different though.

Qualified P7, satisfied with that given I have never driven ovals before.

Race 1: The rolling start was a good idea, but clearly some people didn't know, or just went crazy, resulting in some messy crashes. I held P7 for a while but took a while to find the groove. Lap 5, I was pushed into the wall, resulting in damage (loss of top speed and steering now offset). Dave waited though, thanks mate :yo: . Had some good laps with Glenn, exchanging places a few times, but lap 28 I had almost completed the pass on Glenn when we had a tiny touch, sending him spinning into the wall. Very sorry Glenn :sorry:. I stopped and waited, and returned in P13, where I finished.

Race 2: Much shorter this time. Once again, the start was terrible, with the speed all over the place and cars being rear ended regularly. I found the groove a little better this time and was having some nice racing with Jay and Sebastian in P10. Unfortunately on lap 10, all hell broke loose. Up front, Joao hit Emilio, sending him spinning into the inside of the track, but he then slid sideways back across track, directly into my path  . We crashed heavily ( sorry Emilio, but I had no chance to miss you), sending me into and almost over the wall. My pit crew then informed that the car was dead, so race over for me. :rip:

Hope you all had fun.

Hope you had a happy birthday Michael. :party2:

Well, another fun filled Sunday morning with the, dare I say it, Sunday morning club. :fwd::fwd::fwd:

Qualied 5th.
Race 1: Had a poor start, to much wheel spin and all I saw was a bmw go flying through. Dam rear wheel drive. Now back to 7th, and much courtesy given on T1. Now I'm in a oil burner sandwich with Sebastian in front a Philip behind. This was grt fun, 4 cars all racing, 2 honda's and 2 tractors. A few times I had to back out of it so as not to hit Seb and all the while I got Phil breathing down my neck. Unfortunately on lap 2, Philip lost it coming out of the last turn and Sebastian and Rafael touched going into the right hander after the small straight out of T3. Now in 5th and got Keith behind me. Its now lap 4, talk about everything happening, and keith loses it and now got Philip behind me. Now the next few laps I have a little gap in front and behind so just consentrated on putting error free laps together. I decided to pit on lap 12, half distance but on lap 8 Philip managed to get by and we had a nice little battle for a few laps in which I finally got by him on lap 11, grt driving Philip. He then pitted and I pitted on the next lap. I only changed my front tyres and like Philip, after reading his post, and lilke Philip I too had massive oversteer which I found out to my cost at T1, won't be doing that again. Out in 5th, lost a spot at T1, now in 6th and had to drive the rest of the race nursing the rear end. Grt race though.

Race 2: Again not a very good start but ok, starting from 3rd and manage to get 2nd at T1 due to Lee being a bit slower in the Lada. After 2 laps Phil manages to get by then Hugo and then Helder, two many little mistakes by pushing to hard. It's now lap 7, I'm in 5th place and I have an off on the right hander after the little straight, suspension damage. Get back on the track and think I'd better pit, and luky for me they had just opened. Pitted, changed all 4 tyres this time, came out 13th and managed to finish 9th in the end.

Thanks Mr B and RD for a truley awsome event, 2 in 2 days, what more can a man want. Thanks to all that raced, u where all on top form today and all clean driving done by all I came accross, cheers.

Thx Yves & RD for a grt event.

Thought oval racing wasn't to difficult but what do I know. The rolling start was a good idea but I think some need to watch a race or two to get the idea of it. Ended up starting at the back and apart from having a police escort for some of race 1 it was lonely as no one to draft. I didn't put enough fuel in at the start, about 6 laps short, and had to pit. Man these thing are thirsty buggers, and then started to pick up stop & go's due to speeding in the pit, no line to show u where it starts.

Race 2 much the same as race 1 but without me having to pit for fuel.

Thanks everyone and hope Michael had a good time on his birthday.

wow that was awesome, very close qualy and the racing was so close too and above all it was clean and fair :bang: wd everybody :good:

Qualy: got the pole with not much between me and third place.

Race 1: we decided to go for a rolling start instead of a standing one, launch early at the exit of the last turn and it gave me some breathing room for the first corner but Martijn and Chris started to close fast on me and thats when the 3 way battle for the lead started. i don't remember how much place change have occured during the race but it was always back and forth between the 3 of us until we lost Chris, i watched the replay and not much i could do to avoid the little nudge as i was on my racing line and that Chris didn,t anticipated my rear was coming a bit loose in that corner. at the end Martijn got the better of me and held up to take the win, grats mate :good:

Race 2: very late start from the guy on pole and i almost hit the guy infront of me ( i think it was Nigel ), was careful the first lap and waited to see how it would goes at the front. beginning lap 2 at the Exit of T1 someone touched the outside wall and slowed down a few guy's giving me a better top speed on the back straight allowing me to pass a few guy's at the next corner. at that point i was running forth place then something weird happen, 2 guy's infront of me simply dissappeared giving me second place behind Joao. took me 1 lap to pass him for the lead and from there i was able to pull away from the pack and held it there for the rest of the race and took the win.
