Sorry i had to bail. Took forever for the server to pop up... Got in just in time to set a qualy lap. Jumped on the grid and forgot my shifter was still in gear from qualy. So AC started me in the pits and didn't feel like stating at the back after trying to find the server... Sorry guys, work this Wednesday so I'll get on the next one next week

Well, that was a fairly uneventful race for me, but still a blast getting the old escort's tail wagging!

I was trying desperately to catch up with George, but to no avail, then he suddenly went into the pits... now I know why! Nice move

Lads I'm very sorry for the 'administrative error' shall we say

On the positive side it looked like excellent racing with little or no incidents and the escorts were a hoot to drive. Myself and joe had an excellent battle swapping positions throughout.

I hope you enjoyed what started out as a test event for people to setup their sgp/discord and myself to get used to setting uo the race server... Anyone there tonight should be on the ball for the week. See yous on wednesday

Did you guys think the qualifying and practice sessions were a bit long relative to the race length?

I noticed the 'results' bit was way too short, I ended uo getting teleported to pits mid turn 1 talk... Definitely no time for a pee or a beer.

Agree about the result part.
As for practice length, I didn't find it too long and I did practice on the RD server today first, so..

Ernie was in the zone today. One spin and i think he would have lapped me!

I had originally planned on running the practice server for much longer. Seemed like a solid plan. Then i noticed the servers can auto cancel themselves if they are empty or numbers are very low. Need to find out the exact triggers before i can think about stretching out the practice. It would be a nice feature to have a long practice session.

@Interslice if you ever plan to use the Escort again, I highly recommend Spa.

In general it's great fun to eat the curbs with this car (no way to do so with GT cars), so also Monza or Imola would be great fun with it...
