that corresponds with the objects of the 3D model. Use CM showroom and left-click on the light bar few times until the object of the lamp is selected.

I suspect you have the cars with renamed objects that don't match with the config. In that case you need to edit the config code to replace each of the "NAME=******" with the corresponding ones that you've got. In the code you can guess which lamp is which by reading the "COLOR=*, *, *" for example "COLOR=0, 0, 80000" is blue, "COLOR=80000, 0, 0" is red (COLOR=RED, GREEN, BLUE).

Bro i don't understand anything about those codes, your tutorial isn't clear for me.

i downloaded GTR R32 police car but the siren doesn't work, so i applied a siren patch but now the siren sound work automaticly and the loop is not smooth, i also don't know where to put these codes to get better lighting of the siren and emit it in others cars, road and wall.

Please do a clear tutorial on which files do we have to modify by path because i'm really lost and i'm searching for a solution before last day. Thank you

Not very complicated and scary. Game will not break if you don't get it right the first few times. Just have some patience and read before you try.
For the flashing lights to work you need CSP (any version). For the sirens you need the app and the word "police" in the name of the car's folder. Lights and sirens can work independent of each other and combined on any car as long as it has "police" in the name of the folder.

If you want to make some other car model flash the lights - the respective code has to be saved into the respective "..\extension\ext_config.ini" inside that car's folder. In the above code it is defined that at 0 RPM all the lights will not flash so if the car is standing and in gear - no lights.
The siren app has controls for volume and distance which you can tune in session.

If you mean you've done what I described in a previous message about changing the GUID of the "gear_ext" in "..\content\cars\nissan_gtr_r32_tk_police\sfx\GUIDs.txt" that is how the siren sound as horn would work - each time the AI engages another gear the siren sound (horn) is started from the beginning of the loop. If you use the siren app you better revert the changes on GUID to what it was at first and the whine will be uninterrupted.
 
WHEELER = 0 ; patch uses info on if car is open wheeler or not a lot (for example, for how sparks or tyres would look, or even how car is rendered in rendering queue). it gets that info from “ui_car.json”, but it could be generally more reliable to set it explicitly HEADLIGHTS_AR

If you want to make some other car model flash the lights - the respective code has to be saved into the respective "..\extension\ext_config.ini" inside that car's folder. In the above code it is defined that at 0 RPM all the lights will not flash so if the car is standing and in gear - no lights.
The siren app has controls for volume and distance which you can tune in session.

If you mean you've done what I described in a previous message about changing the GUID of the "gear_ext" in "..\content\cars\nissan_gtr_r32_tk_police\sfx\GUIDs.txt" that is how the siren sound as horn would work - each time the AI engages another gear the siren sound (horn) is started from the beginning of the loop. If you use the siren app you better revert the changes on GUID to what it was at first and the whine will be uninterrupted.
i finally fixed lighting problem by creating " extension " folder and creating the ext_config file and pasting this code in it. But now i can't turn lights off and the siren audio keep going on and there is no way to turn it off. I want something that can toggle siren and light ON / OFF by pressing some button, i also tested with AI police and lighting work on it and it can emit light in my car but there is no siren sound. :( Help me please

Sorry but for now that is the choice - either the option to toggle the lights on the car you are in OR lights are on full time on all cars. Can't have both.
For the siren - use the app control to minimize the volume to get a break from the noise when you've had enough and want to continue driving normally. By the way the app is made so it automatically turns off the siren on the car you are driving (if it is a police car).

I have a problem where my 302 Mustang will not produce light. And also the Dodge Charger 2019. I've never done this before so I don't really know what im doing lol. I've copy and pasted the all the coding into them but they both won't produce any light.
 
Actually, no car produces light unless I don't have the track illumination code on, pretty weird. Maybe im putting the code in the wrong places, because on some cars like the crown vic, i just put everything in the ext_config but the lights still don't work (or in digital_instruments if the car doesn't have an ext_config) which im pretty sure was doing wrong but im not sure where else to put the track illumination. Also I tried again on the 302 Mustang and Dodge Charger 2019 and there is still no light coming out from anywhere, i even noticed no light coming from the Dodge Charger you took a picture with in the first post you made on this forum. So basically, I need help with this whole process of where to put these things at, in the right location.

Please read carefully

What's so unclear about editing the "ext_config.ini" in the car's "extension" sub-folder? Paste in that exactly and only the code for the specific car and that's all. The track's configs don't need editing for the police cars to work.

oops i kinda messed up this reply. but anyway im sorry for the lack of understanding i have. i got the crown vic working but i still don't have the bk_dodge_charger_2019_police_v8_awd working and the mustang 302. Let me explain whats happening. When you told me to copy and paste the code in the ext_config, i checked and there was no ext_config in the mustang 302 police folder. I tried the bk_dodge_charger_2019_police_v8_awd and did everything correct, just copy and pasted code, still did not work. All it really is just the car not lighting up and I don't know why.. I can only see the reflections, not the actual light source.

Side note: I really appreciate you for making this thread. And for you being this smart lol, I know we might seem dumb sometimes :rolleyes:

Would be great if this was neatly compiled. As it stands, this is too much trouble to get working.
Neatly compiled is exactly what I would call almost all CSP released versions. There lies the great effort, not in using them with custom config files. We are incredibly lucky to have real software developers giving us their high quality work for free.

Hi, i cant code. i tried out the crown s210 japan police car and add the ect_config.ini. Worked perfect. but only red light.( it will also move in ai mod) then i tried the Ford crown vic police interceptor 2010. change the ini, and the lights are perfect. red and blue, great. but... the ai car wont move. it stands still, throttle a lot, but its not drive. what is wrong ?
Can anybody code a police car, with lights and sounds, witch i can use for ai cars?
i read a lot this post, but the sound i cant get and my ai cars are not drive( crown vic). im too poor by coding ;)
but when somebody solve the problem with the no driving ai- interceptor, iam really happy.

In one of the earlier messages I attached the files that are needed for the Crown Vics to work with AI. For the "Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor 2010" you need to open the second of the attached files - "bk_ford_crown_vic_10_stock_police.zip.txt" with "7-Zip File Manager". Then drag the two folders from the archive into the "..\content\cars\bk_ford_crown_vic_10_stock_police\" and confirm the replace.
