Lambo running a Ferrari engine won't ever happen anytime soon competitively, Audi is running in just about every endurance championship going.
Porshe have already ruled themselves out of F1,but with the way things go, could mean they are a cert to join.
But with the $18b fine hanging over the VW group, pending appeal, maybe it's time they used a name not usually tied up with them.

Who could trust them not to try and cheat on fuel flow etc, the brand is screwed at the moment. The top brass may be behind bars in the US anytime soon, so I doubt negotiating with Bernie is high on the agenda at the moment.
