F1 2019 DX12 crashing?

Is any one else having issues with DX12 crashing? Works fine in DX11 with a few game stutters (not as bad as 2018 had) it happens at random times in the menus.

Have any body found a fix?

Disable steam overlay

Right click on F1 2019 in your library, select properties and uncheck steam overlay.

Don't be daft, it's not exactly obvious what would be the problem, but Steam cloud and overlay has a history of problems of all types of games, until they patch it.

Now I get why I never had crashes like many others with F1 2018 DX12 - I always have the Steam overlay switched off.

But good to know for future reference.

Had a bout 2 hours on track so far mainly F1 and some F2, no career mode or online so far. IMO it's better than F1 2018 in just about every way. It runs great 130fps @ 1440p maxed out, it is a more intersting drive, A.I seem better and looks great. Loving it so far.

I'm enjoying it too. Had about an hour before work this morning and looks stunning. Just got to mess with the wheel later to get it sorted. AI are excellent in my opinion, it's as though they realise how crap I am lol. This is a nice change from ACC as I've been mainly playing that.

I'll try, nothing wrong with the game last year but it just coincided with me losing my sim racing mojo for a while.

This thread has well and truly gone out of the track limits but it does look signifiantly better in certain situations specifically at night under lights and in the wet, it runs better as well.

Game keeps crashing for me. I also get the D3D missing error. Tried everthing. It seems great, so a real shame.

Anyone got a cheat engine table for resource points? I figured out the values but once I change them and apply them, I tab ingame and they change right back. Any ideas of how to hack resource points this year?

My aliasing is terrible, just everything looks washed out and aliased. My monitor is a 21:9 2560 x 1080. Anyone has experienced something like this ?
