Surprising few of our sim racing community, the Dubai Autodrome has been confirmed as the next track heading to RaceRoom Racing Experience.

Edit 02.10.2019: Track available now from the RaceRoom Store!

Having been lightly teased over the last few days, Sector3 Studios have finally confirmed the next circuit that is coming to RaceRoom Racing Experience will be the Dubai Autodrome - the UAE's first fully-integrated motorsport facility.

Running at 5.4km in length, the Dubai Autodrome is perhaps best known for several key motorsport events throughout its short history as a racing venue - most notable of which is probably various flirtations with top level endurance racing and touring car series throughout the years.

Keeping in tune with Sector3's trend of releasing less well known venues, the circuit should certainly offer up some opportunities for players to experience something a little bit different once it releases in the near future.

I want to hear how fun the track actually is to run from others.
It is like a Tilke-Drome, just not from Tilke :D
I like the main Layout, it is very technical, and has a mix of slow and fast corners with varying angles and unusual apexes...it is something for an "artist", you will not get the line right in the first couple of laps, but when you begin to get sub 2 minutes with a GT3, it begins, to make fun.
BUT:
This track is not for everyone, it is a more "modern" approach with fancy lines and sometimes not that intuitive braking zones and also finding your apex with specific cars.

It is pretty good looking though!

I commented on the Sector3 that the track looked too Tilke to me. Although, when released I do like the look of the club layout for the lesser horsepower cars and the video it looks fantastic.
Does anyone recall seeing the rubber build up on any other track like you see in the screen shots?

Thanks for the feed back @Crimson:thumbsup:
The reason Im hesitant to open my wallet for a new track is not (purely) because Im stingy  but because Im driving with throttle/brake up on the wheel (because a leg injury) so I have a lot of difficulty if I have to use the thr/br at the same time as I have to gear down and/or correct a lot of degrees on the wheel.:poop:
Thats the reason its completely impossible for me to drive on as example Hockenheim because 2-3 of the corners need this.
But if there comes a lot of positive reports on Dubai then I can be tempted to contact my stingy wallet:laugh:

I don't know, right now, if there always were marbles on the trackside, though.^^
I was doing a few laps at Silverstone yesterday, trying to get used to driving with an XBox controller. I spent a lot of time off track and can confirm that there were indeed marbles all over the place. I'm guessing they've always been there, but I just haven't noticed them from the cockpit view. (I was using chase cam in offline practice mode.)
