Jarrod, thanks for the PM. I'll ave some of this. Eric (e) is for?

Lets start with a maybe here until I have that nap I promised myself later today. Slept 5am and was up at 8am for an appointment at 9am. I feel like a train has hit me right now.

btw this ranking system will make me stay up every night to race just to keep up with the points.

It's showing 5 more spots left for this race. I know Abdul's spot and one more driver (Will Marquez where are you) is planning on driving here. So 3 spots left with 3 of the guys signed up as a maybe..... Good times at my favorite track!!!!

Dunno why I faild so badly there, almost never spun out in my time attacks. I'm gonna go with the extra fuel load :D.

Yeh I managed a few time attacks before the race and got a 3:02.***. But that was with 2 laps fuel:rolleyes: which I didn't take into account, so 6th gear was absolutely useless uphill and only briefly usefull downhill when fueled for Race and obviously the handling was very different which accounts for spinning out so much early on. So I now know to practice with Car fueled for race and I'm learning something new each race.

is the any chance soon we will be racing on another english track that is not brands hatch?

Silverstone, Birmingham and Donington are the only other english tracks in the downloads since RD only allows legal tracks. The ones that are downloadable elsewhere are highly likely to be illegal conversions. :)

Silverstone - http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1502

Birmingham (now non-existent) - http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=71

Donington - http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=43

But yes, it would be nice to race on an english track other than Brands Hatch :)

Simon all converted track from another game ( original game content ) is considered illegal conversion cause the conpanie that made the game ( track ) don't allow its content to be converted for another game no matter how old the game is and if the companie still exist or not.

Howcome the others are regarded as illegal- surely Thruxton isn't I know its originally codemasters but the game was released 11 year ago

Aleksey,

3 step program to getting faster....

1. Get Eric's vette setup
2. Go into time trial mode and select see ghost line see ghost breakpoints (or something like this), basically you want to be able to see how the ghost lap ran that fast of a lap. Then
2b. Go into time trial mode and download eric's ghost lap... i can't remember if I put one up ... but I know theres several.... all of which will help you learn the lines. Actually, before Eric's, get one that's a bit slower than him and closer to your time... and follow it around for 20 laps or so, then when you beat it, go to eric's.

I am a firm believer in using this tool to learn a track. Notice the ghost lap will show you his break points and accel points as well as his line. Good luck.

I uploaded a ghost for a 1:16.9 I did earlier today, in case anyone is interested.

Also, don't let the time attack times fool you. The time attack mode is a hot lapping tool which provides perfect conditions and doesn't account for fuel or tire wear, allowing you to go faster. The difference doesn't seem to be to big here though. Seems to be about a .5 difference from what I can tell so far.
