Do mods work on the demo?

yeah...I have AC, ACC, PC2...I have just bought my first FFB wheel and I am trying to work out if i need RRE or RF2 as well..the thing that makes me want RF2 is a 90s BTCC mod over at IRS but i would like to see how the mod plays before I get the game just for one mod

I would suggest not to get rFactor 2 at this point as it will likely go on sale within the week due to the upcoming Steam sale centered around Christmas. However, I have all of those sims along with R3E and rFactor 2 and I would say R3E and rFactor 2 are my top two favorites with ACC in 3rd. I would highly recommend both, especially if you enjoy single player. Both R3E and rFactor 2 have excellent driving physics as well.

To answer your original question, no, you can't try mods with the demo.
