I want to get a real car seat to use for my diy rig. There is an occasion to get a nice passenger seat cheaply. So dumb question: Is it any different than a driver's seat?
I get that the seat adjustment thing will be on the left then.

The passenger seat is usually less worn and likely has less electronics going to it so they are usually a better bet.

It also depends on your pedals and driving style. A benefit of high end pedals is the amount of force you can apply when braking.

If you get a well padded seat, part of your braking force will push you back into the seat, negating the benefits of the high end pedals.
