Disable sunflares?

Does anybody know what you need to change to remove the sunflares in the game. It irritates the hell out of me on Estoril during the prequaly. So if it is possible please help

In your PLR file change
Lens Flare in Cockpit View="1"

into

Lens Flare in Cockpit View="0"

lol it was already on "0" and still bugs me! I used hood during prequaly because i dont know the track at all

I attached a DDS file, this can be converted and edited by photoshop and placed into gamedata\teams folder.

Maybe first try if the file works, i use it for GTR2 to get a better flare without the stripes.
