DiRT Rally 2.0 DiRT Rally 2.0 Full Car List Reveal

Codemasters have revealed the full car list set to feature in DiRT Rally 2.0 when it releases this February.

The full 50 strong list of vehicles for DR2.0 contain some very impressive manufacturers indeed, featuring a nice mix of historic and modern machines alongside of course the official 2018 FIA World Rallycross category within the game - no less than 12 different Rallycross cars across multiple classes of the series will be present in the title at launch.

As well as the full car list confirmation below, players purchasing the Deluxe Edition or the Day One Edition will also receive the Porsche 911 RGT, with the car then becoming a separate DLC 60 days after the game launches. Furthermore, Codemasters have confirmed additional "seasonal" content will be added to the sim at a later date.

Codemasters also recently revealed a surprisingly gentle minimum spec for PC, and peripheral support will also be confirmed in the coming days.

DiRT Rally 2.0 will release February 26th 2019.

Nice to see completely random cars like DS21. Probably they slided in easily with licensing of more up-to-date Citroens.
Kinda wish more cars from that era to be included: Saab 96 V4, Volvo Amazon and such. And as much as I love MK2 escort I'm getting tired of it and feels like MK1 is left forgotten. Oh wait, am I just wishing for Rally Trophy car list here...

Seems like Red Bull/FIA/Whoever didn't like having anything "WRC" named in DiRT Rally.
Maybe because it's also the official Monster Energy WRX game, maybe they are afraid that the WRC-series will sell less because of it, idk. What's pretty obvious though, is that it isn't exactly Codemasters choice.

They recorded audio for a Saab 96 but couldn't get it licensed.

The car list is a little underwhelming to be honest.

There seemed like there is a big gap in 2000s. No recent WRC is also a major disappointment. Also, the RX cars isn’t the full list too.

After their year on year improvements with F1, I am underwhelmed by dirt rally 2.

No, they weren't. Dirt Rally got away with some of the cars by not calling them WRC cars and by utilizing certain loopholes (if I remember correctly, they were able to get some of the "WRC" cars into the game thanks to the fact that they got the license to use them just before the car was licensed for WRC racing, so it effectively wasn't a WRC car they licensed).

With Dirt 4, they were further restricted by what they could include in the game regarding the WRC related content (hence for example the limitations regarding stages and countries), only the R5 cars were included - no WRC cars except for the three 2000's WRC cars which they somehow managed to get licensed for the game, but obviously no longer can for 2.0.

I'm really not sure why people always seem to think the devs wouldn't be the first to put as many cars (especially classic cars) into the game if they could. Whenever there's some content you'd like to see missing from a racing game/sim, you can be almost certain the answer to why it's missing is - because licensing.

anyway, Where is the Porsche? Is that exclusive pre-order? That would be really lame.
