Codemasters have revealed a list of the peripherals to be supported in DiRT 4, with a solid collection of the main manufacturers covered across all three release platforms.

Sadly for many, the continued spat between Fanatec and Sony PlayStation once again means owners of the PlayStation 4 will have to use something other than their very expensive Fanatec toys with this game. In something of a compensation Codemasters have bunched together a goodly selection of different wheel and peripheral manufacturer support to try and keep the masses happy and playing the upcoming new title.

Of course with a few weeks to go until the game releases this June 9th the below list could be subject to change. Keep an eye on the official DiRT 4 website for any amendments to the list prior to game go live in just over 3 weeks time.

Happy with the amount of officially supported kit in DiRT 4? Disappointed to see Fanatec not yet back on Sony hardware? Looking forward to the game? Let us know in the comments section below!

6th is for America, 9th for everyone else... I've pre-orderd a physical copy for PC through Amazon UK, currently £35 vs £45 via Steam.

According to Paul Coleman the game is going to be released on 9th of June everywhere, with PC users having opportunity to pre-load the game 4 or 5 days earlier.

Physical copy is a Day One Edition with Hyundai i20 R5 + Special Event and the Founder Icon. Steam offers a Special Edition which adds Team Booster Pack on top.

It would be nice if the author of the article could clarify this.

Apologies for the late response.

It appears as if some outlets are giving mixed messages (Sony for example), however if we take it straight from the horses mouth so to speak, Codemasters have a release date of "Release date: ‎Friday‎, ‎9‎ ‎June‎ ‎2017‎ ‎00‎:‎00‎:‎00" on the DiRT4 website, plus that is the date for Steam on PC too, so it's fair to say that will be the main release date.

If purchasing through the Codemasters digital store (source) it states 6th June.

Hope that clarifies :)

Very happy to see the Accuforce Wheel included in there ! ... still unhappy though that VR is not in the release recipe, so no buy for me unless & until it is confirmed as a certainty.

Indeed.

Nice to see them supporting the high end sim gear. Find it a little odd that no VR is included in that, given that it's where the high end is heading.

Now that they support the ts racer, I wonder if they could patch it to work in DR:p

So no direct drive wheels supported?
