DiRT Rally 2.0 DiRT 2.0: Porsche 911 SC RS & Lancia 037 Evo 2 Now Available

Two new cars have released for the impressive DiRT 2.0 videogame from Codemasters.

Part of the post-release DLC plan from the British development studio behind DiRT Rally 2.0, the next wave of content for their latest off-road simulation is now available - the Porsche 911 SC RS and the outstandingly attractive Lancia 037 Evo 2.

Both cars can be purchased either as standalone DLC for around £1.49 each, or as part of DiRT Rally 2.0 Season 2 package. Deluxe Edition owners of the game will receive the cars automatically for no extra cost.

As well as the two new vehicles, the new update also drops five new Deluxe liveries for the following cars:
  • Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R
  • Ford Fiesta Rallycross (MK8)
  • Ford Mustang GT4
  • Renault 5 Turbo
  • Peugeot 208 T16 R5

Additionally, Deluxe Content owners will also receive a 200,000 CR bonus for use in game.

037 is superplanted and just the 'best' rwd. 911SC feels a tad more understeery and way more tailhappy(doh!): Pendulum effect.

I was a big 037 fan (irl ) and in DR(my fav car) but this one is even better. On hard tyres it's a real powerslider. But irl 037 weren't powersliding/tailhappy all over the place like Mk2 Escort/Mantas etc. So imho pretty authentic.

911SC: Oldskool and so much fun, definitely not a beginner's car just like irl. And that sound: WOW!

The 037 is my favourite rallycar so this is great news - thank you! I'll get DR2 as soon as its "finished"

The 911SC is tail happy but I also found it a little more predictable when it tries to step out than other old school RWDs (not that I still didn't spin it! ha). The tail happiness also seemed to make it a little more easy to get it through certain corners w/o the handbrake. Pretty damn fun all around.

i don´t like the sound it don´t feels real our 1986 911 targa sound better than this one they should rework it in my opinion
 
Germany :Verbundsring reverse has a nice long righthander to test where you can feel the car starts to slide(or understeer), turning into a lefthander. This part of this stage is my way to get the 'feel' of DR2 cars. 037 is easier to maintain into a drift on stages in Germany than 911SC. But 911SC is easier to maintain/higher slipangle/more traction in Monte Carlo stages like Col de Turine Descente(?) where you start in the snow. Interesting to see and feel the difference in both cars(different layouts) on different surfaces.

This is me in 037 going from the long righthander into the lefthander. Pretty easy to maintain and so much fun.

Wait, am I the only one who thinks the Lancia is way to understeery? And keeping power slides going is way harder. It will always straighten out for me, even full throttle.
I couldn't put the difflock any higher cause 36% is the max in dr2. In d4, i had it at 70%. Changing other things will result in to much oversteer off throttle. I need a bit more oversteer on throttle. No rear rollbar setting either.
I played around with the setup. I couldn't find any settings where I feel comfortable. I am afraid after something like 100+ hours in that car, there won't be coming a lot more. A true shame.
