Difference between the Honda Accord 2006? 2007? STCC?

Are there differents between the 2006, 2007 and STCC honda Accord?

Are the setups the same?

There is no difference between the 07' and the STCC version. i dont know about the 06'. Anyone??

I saw a power to weight ratio chart once for the cars in Race07, sorry can't remember where I found it, but all the 06 versions of the cars where just marginally lower than the 07 counterparts. Wether this is true after all the balancing that took place in the patches I don't know but you'll be talking only tenths difference over a perfect lap if the margin is still there.

I also remember reading somewhere than the STCC cars had softer tires? Is that true?

In real life they do vary, however they're the same Physics.

The STCC Honda for example in 08 used Michelin tyres to last half a 40 minute race
Where as the WTCC Honda uses Yokohama tyres to last WTCC length races.

This isn't covered in the game.

STCC for 09 will be using Yokohama tyres.

well the stcc car uses the same hdc file as the standard 2007 car so they are both the same as they share the same files, the 2006 car is slightly different but i doubt if anyone would notice the difference

2006 cars hdc file reads: Inertia=(1260.0, 1350.0, 270.0)
2007 cars hdc file reads: Inertia=(1265.0, 1360.0, 280.0)

the 2006 & 2007 cars use different named tyre files but when you view the file they are infact the same file just with different names
