As is my custom, with the League finale being this coming Saturday, the preceding weeks Club events are simple, mix n match Default events.

Drive what you want: pick a car you've never had the cause to pick, pick an old favourite that fate has kept you apart from...

Fun on a quick, relatively simple track.

Off the top of my head, I'm probably in an E-Type and one of the Capris. No clue how they compare to others.

The E-Type is bang in the middle of the GTC65 class - around here it won't be able to compete with the muscles on the straight, but will be quicker than the other "handling" cars (ecept maybe the Elan). It will be nicer than the Muscles through the middle section.

The small 2600 Capri isn't that quick in the class, although the straight gives it enough time to stretch its legs. The big 3100 one will be right up the top of the timings, being way quicker through the twisty bits than the big Pantera & big Vette.

It is not default, and you are not* going cuckoo

It is the Porsche 904 mod, and is one of the better mods IMO, with 2 models included, the 4 cylinder 904-4, and the 6 cylinder 904-6.

If you can imagine it, think of driving the Renault Alpine, then think of driving the Porsche 906. They have similar feel and some shared characteristics...the 904 sits in the middle of those 2 in pace and feel.

The progression is Renault Alpine -> Porsche 904-4 -> Porsche 904-6 -> Porsche 906

*not about this, anyway
