Dedicated server going offline no longer works?????

As in the title, you used to be able to start a dedicated server on another PC then Go Offline in Steam so you could Log in on another PC to be able to play on your dedi server.

Now I just get a Steam message saying please exit Race07 Dedicated Server before closing steam. . .

Am I missing something here?

Try it the other way around.

First, set Steam to Offline mode, then open Race Dedicated server. 100% sure it works that way, since I have my server running that way as we speak

I am writing a sort of FAQ in regards to the Dedi server options for Race. Shall post it here for future reference.
I have also done some investigation on regards of needed bandwith. Have seen some unexpected results! F.i. a 20 player full grid race ONLY uses about 700kbit of bandwith max!
