Dedicated server: Can’t load any information: server did not respond in given time.

Hi there,

Trying to setup a dedicated server locally on a PC for a session with friends.
Server manager app has been set up, ports also, firewall, anti-virus too. Response from AC Master server - OK.

Main problem - http://prntscr.com/i3gffc

I fixed this by adding UDP/TCP port AND HTTP port in my router port forwarding page. After this no issues.

My Router has no option to add a HTTP port in port forwarding, only TCP, UDP, or BOTH. When you mouse over the HTTP port field in server manager (8081), the tool tip pop up says it's a TCP Port. I cannot see any other place in my router where i can add other custom ports.

LAN Works and the ip address shows 192.168.0.1:8081, but Online shows my ISP assigned ip ie: 123.456.7.8:8081 and does not work, gets stuck halfway on "loading player list" and then gives a cannot get response error

My friend gets this:

My server settings and whats in my end (my server on the server list from kunos, not lan):

Last time I started a server everything was fine.

My friend and I can join serves listed (kunos) and share the same session. We both did an integrity check and updated all content including shaders and CM.

And...... my port forward on router

Any luck here? I'm having the same issue. My server used to work, but stopped randomly. Port forward is fine, I can connect but my brother can't get a ping, and gets the error. If he hosts, same issue I can't get a ping.

I managed to solve my problem using content manager. The trick was to simply hit the button that says "Reload" (CTRL+R) after configuring and creating my server (remenber to save your server).

That was strange since I was using acServerManager and was Updating Server Content but it didn't work.

Stupid mistake mixed with a bug on acServerManager I guess... it works now.

I'm using CM, and I found that you need to look at the LAN section to be able to see your own server, when everyone else sees it on the local servers. AND you'll need the Microsoft Loopback adapter installed into your Device manager Network devices also. Hope that helps.

I've done all that but still no joy on seeing it in my LAN tab on content manager. is there an extra step to get it to show up at all?
