I bought mine last month 2400. Worth it in the long run? Maybe.

Although as with all games these days all these 'future' releases were probably available to include on day of release but they want to keep milking the cash cow.

At 560 per car/track pack and over 6 releases you break even after 4 packs (ish). I just hope that they don't start selling old packs at reduced price too soon.

One good thing about FM4, in terms of auctions, is that if you look to make a prospective purchase (bid) it lets you know that you haven't bought the appropriate pack. I got stung a few times in FM3 buying a 'rare' car that was only DLC I hadn't purchased!

I got it up to 21 Million MPH, flew off the track onto the black moon but then the game crashed.

Something fishy about DLC? I have season pass and during the day yesterday the new DLC cars appeared in the BUY CARS menus and in the quick race menus - had a 'free' look at them but was not able to buy - received a message saying not available yet. Then, last night all disappeared again!

Does this confirm my suspicion that these cars are 'already' there in game and are just timed for (pay us) release? Something was obviously amiss yesterday but T10 put it 'right'?

yes you're right, they are already there thats why when you go to download them the 300mb file downloads in around 2 seconds

I downloaded the December DLC (I have the season Pass). Only 103 MB for 10 cars (like November DLC) so I guess they are already in the game and the download is some sort of unlocking mechanism for each car).

Tried the Suzuki in the Rivals challenge the have put up for it and I was buggered if I could get it to turn any corners. There was just no grip at all, complete understeer. Anybody else got this car and experiencing the same handling anomalies?

Not tried the others yet. Was gonna give them a quick play last night, then we had a power-cut where I live, so that scuppered that idea, lol.

Daz - I tried hillclimb in the Suzuki - too much understeer - had TCS on - I'll try again without. (I use controller - don't know about you).

I splashed out on the 5K Alfa!
The Raptor has lights you can add but they don't do anything - need night tracks / dirt tracks - future DLC?

Well, in good ol' 4WD fashion it will be understeery...

Have tried a few now. The most fun are the Maserati 300 S, Escort MKII and Chevelle. The Scirocco, Fiero and Alfa are nice also.

Is there a time limit in which you have to purchase the DLC's? I still don't have XBL yet or my wheel, wheel should be coming anytime soon now.

It was as if the wheels hadn't been turned, car just continued in a straight line. I was just expecting more traction, after looking at all the kit on the car, lol. Hey-ho.
