Custom Shader Patch psychodelic colour cycling at Nords?

Shovas

I'm booting up Nordschleife with the Content Manager and the latest recommended Custom Shader Patch and the textures along the side of the road are cycling this psychodelic sequence of colours from purple to green to orange and around.

Is this a known issue or have I ingested something questionable?

lol!
Nah, you just need to download a couple of files.
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/a...nfig/master/config/tracks/ks_nordschleife.ini
and
https://github.com/ac-custom-shader...ter/config/tracks/ks_nordschleife__lights.kn5

Then put them both in assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\loaded

and make sure there isn’t a same named ini in the config\tracks folder, the one prior to “loaded”

That should ensure you are using the very latest config file

Hi John777
Thanks for this tip (and thanks for the bloody amazing Mosport track BTW!).
The first file you link to is a long text file - I should copy that into Notepad and save it as a .ini file, that right? (and put it where you indicate)
Also, are there other files (like these two for Nords) for other tracks that need to be installed? How would I know? And where are they?

Sorry for all the questions. This (files from github) is an aspect of AC modding that I haven't followed properly, although I do use CSP and Sol.

For example, I was racing at Riverside in the night and I noticed there were absolutely no lights at all - should I get and install some files from github?

You can just right click the link and use save link as, then it will grab the ini as a file

Everything that's available for tracks, resides here: https://github.com/ac-custom-shaders-patch/acc-extension-config/tree/master/config/tracks

But a lot of track builders include theirs within their projects now, like Mosport, so no need to download anything for it!
