Cubemap/car reflection question

    I have one question. Lets say - I use just cubemap t1 (no spec) with a value 0.4, then white colors turn into gray. How can I solve this without adding spec-color? If I add spec-color the car gets a nice sunlight reflection but it also looses a lot of its cube-reflections. With the spec-color you can see much easier bad polygons.

    I use 6e66o's cubemaps because they give the car body a smooth reflection.

    What is one of the best looking material setting for the carbody?
