CTD Issues

Hi everyone!

For some time now, I have a strange issue with GSC.

While racing in a Stock Car and Mini championship, I get strange CTDs.

Here are some points:

- It only seems to happen online

- It only seems to happen in a Race session

- It usually happens 1-3 laps into the race

- It only happens ONCE per start up of the game(apparently)

I have two installs: A General one and a Mini one

- On the All-In-One Install, it was possible that the CTD happened earlier in the event, depending on when I joined. So I usually avoided having a CTD in the race as it either happened in Practice or Qualifying.

- With the Mini install, it never happens until race session it seems. In about 30 Minutes of Practice or Qualifying, nothing seems to happen.

- I use xD as plugin.


With all these points, is the problem online-related?

My PC:

- Win 7 64 bit
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 - 2600 CPU @ 3.40 GHz
- 8 GB Ram
- Nvidia GTX 570 Direct CU II
- Monitor Philips 225B 1680x1050

Also, I put Anti Aliasing to 8 and checked Widescreen UI.

Because of the CTDs, I started to use the Windowed Mode.

I noticed some small lag during the first few laps of the first race, so I guess that's where I'd have got a CTD if I didn't use Windowed Mode?

Anyone's got some insight on what could be wrong?

So it's actually xD that causes the CTDs?

Does GID work with GSC really? I haven't heard that it is supported(but sicne it uses the same base as rF I wouldn't be surprised).

so is ctd like lagging issues, if not then i am not sure what your problem is , also gid works quite well with gsc

Guess I'll try that(remove xD and try GID).

If it persists, I might have to ask Reiza Studios.
