CSR Elite brake vibration when stand alone?

Just got my fanatec elite pedals and hooked it up. I can't get the vibration to work. I downloaded fanaleds thinking it might make it possible to work as stand alone, but it's not happening. I posted on their forums, but I figured I ask here as well...

is it possible to get the brake pedal vibration without a fanatec wheel? I'm currently using Pcars and Assetta Corsa. I did load up the games within fanaleds and the software does see the pedals

There's no vibration motor on the CSR Elites. The CSP's have the vibration motor mounted on the pedals. You're not missing anything, I've never heard of anyone that liked the vibrator on the brake pedals on the CSP's.
