CSP looks weird on vanilla track

I'm sure it's something basic i've missed, but i can't figure out what causes this on Highlands for example. This is CM/CSP straight "out of the box" - i haven't tweaked or added anything (as far as i'm aware...).

There was an issue with earlier versions of CSP that had a faulty weather_fx system. Version 1.74 “should” have this fixed...

Just as a broad overview explanation of the black bars, one of CSP's optimizations is to draw the sky after the opaque scenery, to reduce gpu load (since then sky covers less than half the display instead of all of it, and CSP weather means it's a more complicated calculation to figure out what the sky looks like) but a lot of vanilla content has the very distant walls incorrectly tagged as opaque instead of transparent, so the top part of the texture ends up without sky drawn under it.
