Featured Confirmed! GTR 3, The Official FIA World Endurance Championship Game

Good news but with the speed of GTR3 is developing let's hope that we don't have to wait for 2020 to have 2018 official WEC championship.

 

eeeeeeeee ok? Can they just come to us when they have more information too share? Not like "The next game will be called G... stay tuned" and in 5 years "the next letter is T, see you soon" f*** off, I hate that. What game engine will be used? What can we expect? What is the business model? On what platform (Steam, Origin, etc)?
If dev's / producers can't share more info just STFU and wait. GTR3 was for the long time HL3 of sim-racing (we working on it we promise) or even Duke Nukem Forever (but we know how well that turns out to be)

I mean, they've announced the the kind of sim they're making, that's a start, and have confirmed that they will be at Gamescom. And I'd imagine that you will get to learn a little more about the game there, not just a couple more letters in a name.

At the gamescom probably they'll show a playable version of the game, not just some screenshots.
I'm positive about the 2018 release. The important thing is that the game is well optimized already on day one.

 

Interesting. A shame that the WEC is dying a death, certainly in the LMP1 category with VW group pulling out, thus Toyota the only remaining hybrid making it effectively a 1 horse race whilst the rest may as well be LMP1.5...

I won't hold my breath on it being a proper successor to GTR2 the FIA GT Championship game, probably more like the other "multi purpose" "sims" we've been offered in recent years.

But I will keep an eye out and stand ready to be corrected.

 

Much more excited for this than I am for ACC. I like GTE and LMP1 a whole lot more than I do GT3 cars.

 

I hope that include some of the non hybrid LMP1 cars.

 

but would this also mean they can extend their licence for multiple seasons when the new gt class will come (one can dream at least)

Well, as ACC brands itself as "The offical Blancpain GT series game", I think other series which are not related to Blancpain will be hard to include due to licensing. I think they will add the Lamborghini Supertrofeo as it was already in AC and races together with a couple of Blancpain races. But I don't see anything more coming there...

 

Really? Or maybe I'm not into hype before we see the product. Also RD have info GTR3 is coming 2 news ago so that's I said what I said. Is it negative? no it's critique of the whole industry and that they never learn. I dare to have different opinion sorry...

 

Finaly another game with a full licence series and not only 1-2 Cars from it. ACC and also GTR3 cant wait, both could be a great games

 

I'm young ( ) enough to play first racing game on a audio casette and i'm glad i live so long ( and i hope much more ) to enjoy driving all this new games .

Nobody wants to have the boring 2018 WEC... I would prefer some earlier years...

 

What's exclusive about the GT and WEC content in those games...?

 

Seems history is repeating , ACC does Blancpain an SimBin does WEC. So is this the end of 500 car sims ?
All we need now is Alan Gow to licence BTCC , I'll be a happy man
