Comments Not Visiable

I was wondering why people's comments are not visiable for me on the home page. Just shows their name, date, an icon and empty space.

Caching issue that should be addressed with the next vBulletin patch. Should be visible for you now

I'm using Windows Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.11 with windows XP and still no comments visible??:frown: Any suggestions. I just noticed that there are smiley faces cool visible in some of the comments areas but no text.

Jack, i recommend you use the latest browsers, i think you should use ie8.

If you are still on IE6 you have bad luck. IE6 is very very very outdated and doens't support the latest version of vBulletin 4 series anymore. Time to upgrade buddy

For me it takes time for my comment to pop up after i submit it.

Using IE7 which is just as outdated I suppose.

IE8 represents a major improvement with web standards support over IE7. Many things work much much better in IE8.

If i was to recommend you a browser to use though I would say try out Firefox. Much better support for most web technologies than IE at the moment, all round very stable. I good workhorse I find. It's still improving all the time too.

Yes, this weekend i had to use another computer, and it was using ie7, and i could'nt see the comments. Just smilies and avatars. So the problem is definitely ie7 crapness
