Codemasters F1 2017 vs. RF2 F1?

Thinking of buying the F1 2017 from Codemasters and wondering if it's as good as the F1 mods that you can download for RF2? I am looking for the ability to just pick a car and track like in RF2. Does F1 2017 in Codemasters have that?
