CM Debugging Options Enabled

I don't understand what you mean "mechanic reduced"
Is to increase mechanical failure?

And the Demo weather, What implication is that?

i can confirm that Demo weather WORKS! it just takes time, after you select it in the debugging menu, then in a couple of laps and then the skies start to get darker and you engineer comes on the radio, "its gonna rain/ light rain/ etc in 15 minutes", etc.

wow thanks! i've been trying to find this value for years! tried editing everything!

btw do u know what <rmCurvatureMultiplier float="6.05" /> does? its usually 1.6 but changing it up or down this year has no effect it seems.

also know how to make ai faster when they are a couple of positions behind you? i know that the cars immediately nearby follow real-time physics but further than that they seem to follow another value.

thanks, cheers! :)

Have you tried the setting on reduced mechanics (rm) in the debug menu ? Changing the setting seems to have no effect, so it could be that the values are not used.

As for overtaking, I have not look into it, may be you can try adjusting the values of the following items:

<ovOffsetMergeFactor float="4.0" />
<ovTime float="5.0" />
<ovBrakeOvertakeTime float="0.0" />
<ovRejectDistance float="500.0" />
<ovSpeedDifference float="0.1" />
<ovFollowDistance float="3.0" />
<ovDecisionTimeOut float="0.0" />
<ovMinFireTime float="0.25f" />
<ovMinCornerCurvature float="0.001" />
<ovMaxCornerCurvature float="0.04" />
<ovOffsetMergeFactorCorner float="0.5" />
<ovSlowSpeed float="10.0f" />
<ovWideLimitsSpeed float="7.5" />
<ovMinMetresSeparationAwayFromCorner float="10.0" />
<ovSeparationDistanceAtBrakeLine float="11.0" />
<ovSecondsBeforeBrakeZoneToReact float="2.5" />

For now I increased the ai cornering speeds for the individual tracks, and then gave their cars more grip to deal with it in the ctf files. Now they're too fast. :D

How did you install it?

You can use Ryder's mod manager or follow the steps below:
- Make a copy of the system folder in the F1 2012 folder, for backup
- Copy the 2 files in the zip mod file in the system folder, and overwrite the original files
- Enjoy!

- If you want to go back to the original version (necessary to play online I suppose), rename your modded system folder to 'system - Mod', for example, and rename ,your copy of the folder to its original name, 'system'.

HTH

Doesn't work for me... Installing all files perfectly with Ryder Mod Manager and when I select go to the track ( in pit ) my game freeze...Then I select Pause, set again go to track and game freeze absolutely with black screen... :(

Simple installation

Unpack->copy files -> paste in stem/stemapps/common/f12012

Something like this:
stem/stemapps/common/f12012/rmpk.xml
stem/stemapps/common/f12012/system/flow.bin
stem/stemapps/common/f12012/system/states.bin

Works for me!

steam cloud is enabled i even checked the integrity of the game files it downloaded a 6.8mb file then i reinstalled the mod and it still didnt work :/
You have to option:
1. Uninstall then reinstall it
2.Go to games in game, right click on f1 2012 then properties,local files,verify integrity of game.
That should do it.
